Pre-University, Jamaica
Pre-university is a Jamaican institution that offers post secondary educational programmes. Currently there are three campuses in Kingston, Portmore, and Montego Bay that provide training to students in preparation for University education. The Jamaican Government has partnered with Pre-university to offer training to students as Canadian Licensed Practical Nurses based on a Canadian curriculum of Norquest College, Alberta, after which these students will be placed in jobs in Canada. The immigration processing and job placements are the exclusive responsibility of Marmicmon IMC. Upon successful completion of the programme and satisfying all prerequisites for international travel, the graduates of the LPN programme will be placed in full-time, permanent jobs in Canada.
