Nuttall Memorial Hospital, Kingston, Jamaica

While Nuttall is recognised primarily as a public hospital they are now a partner to the training of Canadian Licensed Practical Nurses in Jamaica. The program is in partnership with Centre for Nursing Studies, Newfoundland and Labrador; Brown’s Town Community College, St Ann; Knox Community College, Spalding; and Marmicmon IMC. The program is completely taught in Jamaica, and students are interviewed by Canadian Employers at least two months before they complete the program. These Canadian Employers are making offers subject to students completing the program afterwhich graduates will travel to Canada to commence their employment.
